About The Position

Big Sandy Superstore is hiring a Customer Relation Specialist to support customer service and office operations. The role helps customers with warranty issues and product concerns, processes orders in a timely manner, and works toward providing a positive experience with customers’ purchases and the organization.

The position also provides clerical support to store staff and handles order records, payments, financing paperwork, customer inquiries, and other assigned duties. Compensation is $12.00–$14.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Basic reading and comprehension skills.
• Basic numerical reasoning skills.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately, neatly, and efficiently.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, and reach regularly.
• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• Previous clerical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify order information, identify discrepancies, and correct them.
• Complete documentation accurately and efficiently, and process information related to cash balances, deliveries, sales orders, and account balances in compliance with corporate guidelines.
• Answer phones, manage counter inquiries, process payments, and resolve customer complaints and questions.
• Complete and process credit applications, payments, and financing paperwork.
• Communicate professionally and promptly with internal and external personnel.
• Maintain accurate files and processes to maximize productivity.
• Provide clerical support for store staff as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
