About The Position

The Avis First Customer Experience Specialist delivers premium, personalized service to Avis First customers throughout vehicle delivery and collection. This front-line role supports a seamless customer experience through clear communication, coordinated logistics, and professional, welcoming interactions. The position includes delivering vehicles directly to customers, confirming arrangements and special requests, greeting customers, assisting with luggage, and providing an overview of the rental vehicle. This is an on-site position in Palm Springs, California, and cannot be performed remotely.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role; hospitality or car rental experience is preferred.
• Professional, friendly demeanor and a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Technological proficiency and comfort using various mobile devices.
• Valid driver's license.
• At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and continuously sit, stand, walk, enter and exit vehicles, drive a variety of automobiles, talk, hear/listen, and type.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in hospitality or car rental.
• Experience as a valet driver.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional, personalized, best-in-class experience to customers.
• Deliver vehicles directly to customers to provide a premium customer experience.
• Coordinate timely vehicle delivery and collection with team members and management.
• Communicate proactively with premium-level customers by phone, text, email, and app to confirm logistics, special requests, and meeting locations.
• Greet customers upon arrival, open vehicle doors, assist with luggage, and provide an overview of the rental vehicle.
