About The Position

The Customer Experience Representative provides superior, friendly, and efficient service and transactions, and offers company-approved services and products to create a positive customer experience. The role facilitates rental transactions by verifying and documenting required driver information to support efficient and timely vehicle rentals and returns. This full-time position is located at the Grand Junction Airport in Grand Junction, Colorado, pays $21.50 per hour, and follows a Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid driver's license, with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
• Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction (DUI, DWI, or DWAI) on record within the past five years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require current or future work-authorization sponsorship from the company.
• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of prior customer-service, retail, or administrative-support experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers professionally, warmly, and promptly.
• Explain rental terms and conditions, vehicle features, and other services while providing efficient customer service.
• Use company-approved sales and service techniques to assess customer needs and offer optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options, and additional equipment.
• Provide assistance such as directions, maps, local-area information, and relevant service information.
• Answer incoming calls about reservations, rate quotes, and general questions; provide information and resolve issues for customers, other branches, and vendors.
• Make outgoing calls for callback management and other assigned purposes.
• Help assess the condition of rental vehicles upon return.
• Notify management of known customer problems.
• Notify management of known vehicle problems and required maintenance.
• Continue building knowledge and skills through on-the-job development and company-sponsored classroom training.
• Perform miscellaneous and backup job-related duties as assigned.
