About The Position

As a Customer Experience Banker Non NMLS, you serve as a financial concierge for walk-in customers. You help retain and grow consumer and business relationships by identifying customers’ financial goals and needs and recommending appropriate deposit and other banking products and services. You also process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, balance daily, and provide exemplary customer service. The position is based in Bedford Park, Illinois, and is listed for 32–35 hours per week with full benefits eligibility. Spanish bilingual ability is requested.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience, or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role; alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the employer will not sponsor applicants for immigration benefits.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
• Cash-handling skills.
• Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.
• Bilingual Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
• Understand consumer deposit products and educate customers about them.
• Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new-customer follow-up, outbound calling, and referrals from customers and partners.
• Educate customers and refer them to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build partnerships.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, and balance daily.
• Follow operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Apply sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
