About The Position

As a Customer Experience Banker Non NMLS, you serve as a Financial Concierge for walk-in customers. You help retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs and recommending appropriate deposit and other banking products and services. You process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, balance daily, and provide exemplary customer service. The role is based in an office workplace. The branch environment offers an inclusive team setting where colleagues can share ideas and contribute to outcomes for customers, the bank, and the community.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience, or military service in administration, contracting, civil affairs, or a similar role; alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the employer will not sponsor immigration benefits for this position.
• Demonstrated acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
• Cash-handling skills.
• Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
• Understand consumer deposit products and educate customers about them.
• Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, a new-customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and referrals from customers and partners.
• Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong partnerships.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently and balance daily.
• Follow operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
