About The Position

As a Customer Experience Banker Non NMLS, you are a Financial Concierge for walk-in customers. You help retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs and recommending appropriate deposit and other banking products and services. You process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, balance daily, and provide exemplary customer service. The role is based in an office workplace. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience or military service in administration, contracting, civil affairs, or a similar role; alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrated acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation.
• Must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Huntington will not sponsor applicants for immigration benefits.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
• Cash-handling skills.
• Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
• Understand consumer deposit products and educate customers about them.
• Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, a new-customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and referrals from customers and partners.
• Educate customers and refer them to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build partnerships.
• Follow operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
