About The Position

As a Customer Experience Banker, you serve as a financial concierge for walk-in customers. You retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs and recommending appropriate deposit and other banking products and services. You also process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, balance daily, and provide exemplary customer service.

This branch banking role offers a welcoming and inclusive team environment in which colleagues can share ideas and contribute to customers, the bank, and the community. The position is based in an office. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year of customer service experience, or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role; alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
• Cash-handling skills.
• Comfort using technology such as mobile services and online banking services.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
• Understand consumer deposit products and educate customers about them.
• Proactively grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new-customer follow-up, outbound calling, and referrals from customers and partners.
• Educate customers and refer them to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build partnerships.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, and balance daily.
• Follow operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
