About The Position

As a Customer Experience Banker Non NMLS, you serve as a financial concierge for walk-in customers. You retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by identifying financial goals and needs and recommending suitable deposit and other banking products and services. You also process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, balance daily, and provide exemplary customer service.

The role is based in an office branch setting. Huntington describes its branch banking teams as welcoming and inclusive, with colleagues empowered to share ideas that affect customers, the bank, and communities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience, or military service in administration, contracting, civil affairs, or a similar role; alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Huntington will not sponsor applicants for immigration benefits.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
• Cash-handling skills.
• Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
• Understand consumer deposit products and educate customers about them.
• Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new-customer follow-up, outbound calling, and referrals from customers and partners.
• Educate customers about and refer them to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build partnerships.
• Adhere to operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently and balance daily.
• Demonstrate sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation acumen.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
