About The Position

As a Customer Experience Banker Non NMLS, you serve as a financial concierge for walk-in customers. You retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by identifying financial goals and needs, recommending appropriate deposit and other banking products and services, processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, and balancing daily while providing exemplary customer service. The role is part of a welcoming and inclusive branch team where colleagues can share ideas and contribute to customers, the bank, and the community.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience or qualifying military service in administration, contracting, civil affairs, or a similar role; alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
• Cash-handling skills.
• Comfort with technology, including mobile services and online banking services.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
• Understand consumer deposit products and educate customers about them.
• Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new-customer follow-up, outbound calling, and referrals from customers and partners.
• Educate customers and refer them to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build partnerships.
• Adhere to operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently and balance daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
