About The Position

As a Customer Experience Banker (Non NMLS), you serve as a financial concierge for walk-in customers. You retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs and recommending appropriate deposit and other banking products and services. You also process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, balance daily, and provide exemplary customer service. The role is based in an office branch and offers a welcoming, inclusive team environment where colleagues can share ideas and contribute to customers, the bank, and the communities it serves.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience or military service in administration, contracting, civil affairs, or a similar role; alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrated acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the employer will not sponsor immigration benefits for this position.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
• Cash-handling skills.
• Comfort using technology such as mobile services and online banking services.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
• Understand consumer deposit products and educate customers about them.
• Proactively grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new-customer follow-up, outbound calling, and referrals from customers and partners.
• Educate customers about and refer them to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build partnerships.
• Adhere to operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, balance daily, and provide exemplary customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
