About The Position

As a Customer Experience Banker, you serve as a Financial Concierge for walk-in customers. You retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by identifying financial goals and needs and recommending suitable deposit, loan, and other banking products and services. You also process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, deliver exemplary customer service, and educate customers about bank products, services, and technology. The role is based in an office branch at 72nd & Federal in Westminster, Colorado.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience or qualifying military service in administration, contracting, civil affairs, or a similar role; alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
Must meet additional background-check requirements, including providing fingerprints as required by NMLS regulations.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
Cash-handling skills.
Comfort using technology such as mobile services and online banking.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
Understand and educate customers about consumer deposit products and consumer lending.
Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new-customer follow-up, outbound calls, and referrals from customers and partners.
Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong partnerships.
Follow operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
Perform other duties as assigned.
