Customer Experience Banker - Boulder, CO
About The Position
As a Customer Experience Banker, you serve as a financial concierge for walk-in customers, helping retain and grow consumer and business relationships. You proactively identify customers’ financial goals and needs and recommend appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products and services. You also process transactions accurately and efficiently, provide exemplary customer service, and educate customers about the bank’s products, services, and technology. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience or military service in administration, contracting, civil affairs, or a similar role; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree.
- Must meet additional background-check requirements, including providing fingerprints as required by NMLS regulations.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Huntington will not sponsor applicants for immigration benefits.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
- Cash-handling skills.
- Comfort using technology such as mobile services and online banking.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
- Understand and educate customers about consumer deposit products and consumer lending.
- Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new-customer follow-up, outbound calling, and referrals from customers and partners.
- Educate customers and refer them to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong partnerships.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Follow operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
