Signet Jewelers’ digital brand, Blue Nile, is seeking a Customer Data Strategy Intern to support the expansion and growth of our Customer Data Platform (CDP). In this role, you will collaborate closely with the CRM team to help enhance the activation of customer data. Goals for this internship include: 1st Party Data Assessment: Learn how first party customer data is collected and used across Blue Nile by reviewing what data we capture today and where gaps exist. Build an understanding of how missing or inconsistent data impacts personalization and how we can fill these gaps over time to push growth. Present findings at the end of the internship. Competitive Benchmarking Analysis: Learn how similar brands use a CDP to drive customer acquisition and retention, by researching competitor examples. Provide ideas to enhance our plan and future strategy. Present this plan at the end of the internship. This role will also contribute to: The integration of additional marketing channels with the CDP The connection between showrooms and actionable CDP data The ideal candidate has a strong interest in data-driven marketing and is eager to learn how customer data can power decision-making across an organization. This role requires intellectual curiosity, a willingness to develop new skills, and the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights for various stakeholders.
