About The Position

The Customer Consultant I responds to customer inquiries by telephone and answers calls for the bank location. This part-time role is scheduled for 20 or more hours per week. The position provides routine account support, assists customers with Online and Mobile Banking, maintains customer accounts, and researches and resolves customer issues. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to understand customer needs and deliver unsurpassed customer service.
• Understanding and application of banking compliance regulations.
• Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines.
• Ability to manage time and resources effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of and comfort using internet software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls for the bank location.
• Assist customers with routine account requests, including funds transfers, stop payments, checking and savings transaction inquiries, funds-availability inquiries, and third-party check verification requests.
• Help customers with Online and Mobile Banking, including enrollment, Bill Pay, eStatements, deposits, and available features.
• Perform general customer account maintenance, such as address changes and check orders.
• Research and resolve customer problems, acting as a liaison with other bank departments when necessary.
• Complete customer-requested research, including printing statements and check copies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
