About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Customer Assistance Representative Sr (CAR Sr) for its Burlington, Iowa branch. The role provides face-to-face and phone support to internal and external customers, including rental assistance, customer service, and administrative support. Employees gain knowledge through local training and hands-on experience. The position is based at 2209 North Roosevelt, Burlington, IA 52601, pays $17 per hour at the start, and is based on a 40-hour workweek. The listed schedule is Monday 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Tuesday 7:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., Wednesday off, Thursday 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Friday 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and Saturday 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require the company to sponsor work authorization now or in the future.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of customer service or sales experience in retail, guest services, or administrative support.
• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past 3 years.
• No drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls about reservations, rate quotes, general questions, and customer information or resolutions.
• Make outgoing calls for callback management, accounts receivable, and other assigned matters.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone, assess their rental needs, and provide friendly, timely service.
• Greet customers and provide directions and general assistance.
• Help assess rental vehicle condition upon return.
• Process returns, check-ins, and exit kiosk transactions.
• Market the company while safely and courteously picking up or dropping off customers, and assist customers as needed.
• Explain rental terms and conditions, vehicle features, and other services.
• Sell optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options, and additional equipment as applicable.
• Notify management of known vehicle problems and required maintenance.
• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors by hand or using washing equipment when needed.
• Perform administrative and basic accounting tasks, including research and billing support, accounts receivable, transfer and key logs, miscellaneous reports, supply maintenance, and customer billing.
• Perform other miscellaneous and backup job-related duties as assigned.
