About The Position

Renewal by Andersen is the replacement division of the 120-year-old Andersen Corporation, a leading window and door manufacturer in North America. We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Accounts Representative to manage customer billing, collect payments, maintain accurate accounting records, and assist homeowners with account-related inquiries. The ideal candidate is highly organized, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service while ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.

Requirements

2+ years of accounting, accounts receivable, account management, or a related field; or a combination of relevant education and experience.
Experience performing general accounting functions, including posting accounting entries and reconciling accounts.
Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to accurately interpret billing terms and process financial transactions with a high degree of precision.
Understanding of banking processes, financing arrangements, and common lending terminology.
Strong communication skills with a commitment to delivering a positive customer experience.
Ability to work effectively with multiple departments to achieve shared goals.
Strong time management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Receive customer contracts and accurately enter information into company accounting systems.
Create and distribute customer invoices according to contract terms and payment schedules.
Collect, process, and accurately record customer payments.
Reconcile customer accounts and perform related tasks to ensure accounting records remain complete and accurate.
Partner with Finance, Service & Warranty, and Customer Care teams to facilitate timely payment collection and account resolution.
Work with financing and lending partners to support the efficient flow of funds.
Respond to customer account inquiries professionally and provide exceptional service throughout the payment process.
