About The Position

Prestige Maintenance USA is hiring a Porter/Custodian to help keep facilities clean, organized, and safe. The role includes general cleaning in restrooms, offices, cafeterias, sales floors, and other assigned areas, along with floor care such as stripping and waxing. The custodian performs assignments according to the company schedule and customer expectations, following direction from the Lead Custodian or management. This position requires working independently and as part of a team, following safety guidelines and company policies, and performing physical tasks in a fast-paced or stressful environment. The job is offered as full-time or part-time on the first shift, with scheduled work Saturday from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. Relocation is not provided, and travel is not required.

Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Ability to safely and effectively operate small power tools.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crawl, bend, turn, and reach in areas that may not be fully air-conditioned.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including climbing stairs and ladders.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced or stressful environment.

Responsibilities

Keep facilities clean, fresh, and safe.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
Take out trash and recycling; empty wastebaskets and replace liners as needed.
Restock supplies and refill restroom dispensers as needed.
Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals.
Sweep and damp-mop floors with disinfectant, and spot-clean soiled areas as needed.
Perform general cleaning in restrooms, offices, cafeterias, sales floors, and other assigned areas.
Perform stripping, waxing, and wet floor care.
Use equipment such as scrubbers, extractors, and buffers.
Complete assignments according to the company schedule and customer expectations.
Perform other required tasks as directed by the Lead Custodian or management.
Follow proper safety guidelines and company policies and procedures regarding safety, customer service, and appropriate attire.
