About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a Custodian to help maintain the cleanliness and smooth operation of its property and plant. The role performs routine custodial duties, provides operational support as required by the Executive Director, completes scheduled facility upkeep checklists, and reports completed work and concerns. Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers offering individualized treatment across multiple levels of care.

Requirements

• CPR certification is required.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of two years of related experience is preferred.
• For applicants in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and smooth function of the property and plant.
• Perform routine custodial duties, including cleaning, restocking, and removing garbage.
• Provide operational support as required by the Executive Director.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure facility cleanliness and upkeep.
• Report completed activities and escalate concerns to the Executive Director.
