About The Position

The Custodian maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary manufacturing facility, including production areas, offices, break rooms, restrooms, warehouses, and common spaces. The role supports a safe working environment by consistently meeting cleanliness standards and following company policies and safety regulations. This is a full-time position with a Monday-through-Thursday schedule consisting of ten-hour shifts. No travel is expected. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

English language knowledge, including the structure and content of English, word meanings and spelling, and rules of composition and grammar.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. as a pre-condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous custodial, janitorial, industrial, or manufacturing facility experience preferred.
Experience operating commercial cleaning equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, break rooms, and common areas.
Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors throughout the facility.
Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
Clean windows, doors, walls, and other surfaces as needed.
Replenish restroom and break room supplies, including soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning products.
Maintain cleanliness of production support areas while adhering to manufacturing and safety requirements.
Clean spills and respond promptly to sanitation or housekeeping issues.
Follow established cleaning schedules and complete assigned work orders.
Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals according to OSHA requirements.
Assist with facility setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects.
Support company initiatives related to workplace safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement.
Report maintenance, safety, or facility concerns to management.
Operate custodial equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums.
