Performs all housekeeping duties, implementing disinfection and cleaning guidelines, and maintains general upkeep of assigned premises.

• Ability to communicate with people of various diverse backgrounds in a sensitive and compassionate way.

Responsibilities

• Wearing utility gloves during all cleaning and trash removal procedures, cleans facility according to Disinfection and Cleaning Schedule; checks and replenishes, as needed, paper towels, toilet tissue, liquid soap and Purell in appropriate dispensers, daily; Empties all regular wastebaskets and replaces plastic bags, daily; Disposes of all trash in dumpster after proper bagging; Disposes recyclable trash in proper dumpster; Removes all red plastic bags from biohazard containers and stores in designated container, as needed. Insures outside steps/walks are clean at all times; Picks up all debris outside of building to maintain neat appearance.
