About The Position

The Custodian is responsible for the overall sanitary conditions and organization of the Sales Center. The role performs duties across the warehouse, shipping and receiving areas, roof, outside area, and grounds in a safe and efficient manner. The position maintains a safe, clean, and sanitary work environment and follows Food Safety, Personal Safety, Quality, Environmental Health & Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) requirements.

The schedule is 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., with Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday off. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour. The role requires work at night and may require weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to follow written procedures and instructions.
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds; stack, unstack, or carry items; and stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods.
• Comfortable working in a warm environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of shipping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow written procedures and perform responsibilities in accordance with Food Safety, Personal Safety, and Quality policies and procedures.
• Notify the supervisor about equipment problems.
• Clean and organize the Sales Center, including compacting and baling cardboard for pickup, sweeping and mopping, collecting and disposing of plastic wrap, and maintaining the cleanliness of the parking lot and grounds.
• Follow specific pest-control instructions.
• Perform duties assigned by the Regional Sales Manager or Operation Sales Leader.
• Keep accurate records of cleaning performed.
• Inspect areas requiring attention.
• Inform the manager of unsanitary practices in the Sales Center.
• Perform repetitive tasks and follow instructions across varied locations in the Sales Center.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary work environment.
• Follow, demonstrate, and understand Environmental Health & Safety requirements.
• Maintain GMPs and SOPs and meet HACCP requirements.
• Participate in and successfully complete required company-approved training and audits.
• Perform additional responsibilities and duties assigned by the supervisor.
