Requirements

Reliability: Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Attention to Detail: Thoroughness in cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, lift objects up to 50lbs, and perform manual labor.
Technical Knowledge: familiarity with cleaning chemicals and cleaning and landscape equipment.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in custodial and janitor work is a plus.

Responsibilities

Cleaning and sanitizing: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, disinfect restrooms and cafeterias, sanitize all surfaces, including counters, railings, and door handles.
Waste Management: Empty and reline all trash cans and recyclable containers including production cardboard bins.
Maintenance Support: Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, assist maintenance technicians, and landscape duties and snow removal.
Safety Compliance: Follow strict safety protocols, including the safe use of chemical cleaners, machinery and Personal Protective Equipment. (PPE)
Time Management: To conduct job duties in order of priority and to stay productive during slower periods.
Supply Management: Monitor, restock and manage inventory of cleaning supplies.
