About The Position
The Custodian will perform custodial work at Mountain View High School for the 2026–2027 school year. The position is classified as auxiliary/custodial and has 238 work days. The stated pay range is $13.80–$16.09 per hour. Applicants should be able to follow cleaning, maintenance, and safety instructions; perform minor repairs and building and grounds maintenance; operate cleaning equipment; lift heavy equipment; and handle cleaning supplies properly. A high school diploma or GED and one year of custodial experience are preferred. Applicants must submit a copy of a driver's license and current resume, as well as a copy of a high school diploma or equivalent if applicable, to be considered for an interview.
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures.
- Knowledge of minor repair techniques and building and grounds maintenance.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment.
- Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies.
- Submit a copy of a driver's license and current resume with the application; a copy of a high school diploma or equivalent is required if applicable.
