About The Position

Pritchard Industries is seeking a Custodian to perform building maintenance and cleaning tasks to help keep the building and facilities healthy, safe, and sanitary. Duties include vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping floors; removing trash; cleaning restrooms and break rooms; and performing other miscellaneous tasks. The ideal candidate has a professional attitude and appearance and is self-motivated, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Requirements

• Must be able to follow instructions from a supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Prior cleaning experience is a plus; janitor experience is a plus, but training will be provided.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Professional attitude and appearance; self-motivated, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, mop, and sweep floors.
• Remove trash.
• Clean restrooms and break rooms.
• Perform other miscellaneous building maintenance tasks to help maintain a healthy, safe, and sanitary facility.
• Follow supervisor instructions and complete assigned tasks effectively.
• Set up for events.
• Use an auto scrubber machine.
