About The Position

The Custodian maintains appropriate sanitation levels in and around company facilities while following regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. The role includes cleaning facility spaces, performing general maintenance throughout the facility—including warehouse and freezer areas—and keeping the grounds free of debris. The schedule is Sunday 11 AM–7 PM and Monday–Thursday 12 PM–8 PM. Pay is $18.00 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment and pallet jacks.
Comfort handling cleaning chemicals.
Basic math skills.
Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage sites or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs./9 kgs.; the weight may be higher depending on the facility.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
Comfort working with varying noise levels, which can sometimes be loud.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs, breakrooms, and office spaces.
Wash and sweep inside the facility and pick up discarded trash.
Perform general maintenance throughout the facility, including the warehouse and freezer.
Remove ice and pick up pieces of pallets.
Keep grounds clean and free of debris.
Keep cleaning materials and equipment in good working condition, secure them properly after use, and maintain stock levels through routine checks, as needed.
Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.
Follow regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
