About The Position

The Custodian helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing facility spaces, maintaining floors and building grounds, performing minor repairs, supporting building security, and monitoring custodial supplies and maintenance needs. The position offers a consistent full-time schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of custodial or janitorial experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and dependability.
• Must successfully complete a fingerprint-based background check; fingerprinting costs are the applicant's responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, buff, and wax floors.
• Empty trash and maintain building grounds.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Assist with building security by monitoring designated entrances and exits.
• Maintain custodial supplies and promptly report maintenance issues.
• Support a safe, clean, and professional environment throughout the facility.
