About The Position

American Facility Services is hiring dependable custodians to help keep local schools in Dalton, Georgia clean, safe, and welcoming for students and staff. This is year-round work, with full-time and part-time opportunities. Full-time first-shift hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Second-shift hours vary by school and may be 2:30 PM to 9:30 PM or 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM; part-time second-shift hours also vary by school location.

Custodians clean and maintain school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas. The role involves routine cleaning tasks and requires extended standing and walking, as well as bending, twisting, reaching, pulling, and moving cleaning equipment and supplies as needed. Custodial experience is helpful but not required.

Full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week may receive health benefits after 60 days, holiday pay after 90 days, and paid time off after one year.
