About The Position

Otsego Public Schools is hiring a Custodian for the second shift at Otsego High School, starting in the 2026–27 school year. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., for 40 hours per week. The position performs daily cleaning and custodial duties throughout classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and entry areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Background check and fingerprints upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with cleaning and custodial work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms daily by emptying trash, sweeping or vacuuming, spot mopping, and locking doors and windows.
• Clean restrooms daily by disinfecting fixtures, emptying trash, refilling soap and paper products, and removing graffiti and litter.
• Clean hallways daily by picking up and emptying trash, sweeping or vacuuming hallways and entry rugs, and spot mopping hard floors.
