About The Position

Oral Arts Dental Lab is seeking a full-time Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, orderly, and sanitary environment throughout its facility in Huntsville, Alabama. The role includes routine custodial work and helping maintain the facility’s overall appearance and condition. The position requires following established cleaning, safety, and sanitation procedures and reporting maintenance, safety, or other facility concerns to appropriate personnel. Pay is based on relevant experience.

Requirements

Willingness to learn and follow established cleaning, safety, and sanitation procedures.
Ability to meet the physical and mental requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, including clear seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing; occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling; frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods; regular stair climbing; frequent lifting or moving up to 25 pounds; and occasional lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or general cleaning experience.
Experience using common cleaning equipment and products.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize work areas, restrooms, common areas, floors, and other assigned spaces.
Maintain adequate cleaning and facility supplies.
Properly handle and dispose of waste.
Follow established safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
Help maintain the overall appearance and condition of the facility.
Report maintenance, safety, or other facility concerns to appropriate personnel.
