Custodian
About The Position
Pritchard Industries is seeking a Custodian to perform building maintenance and cleaning tasks that help keep the building and facilities healthy, safe, and sanitary. Duties include vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping floors; removing trash; cleaning restrooms and break rooms; and completing other miscellaneous duties. The role may also involve using an auto scrubber and setting up for events. The ideal candidate has a professional attitude and appearance and is self-motivated, hardworking, dependable, and responsible. This is a full-time position for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a schedule of either 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. or 3:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m. The listed pay rate is $20.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Able to follow instructions from a supervisor and complete tasks effectively.
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Reliable transportation.
- Professional attitude and appearance; self-motivated, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.
Nice To Haves
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience; training is available.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
