Custodian
About The Position
The Custodian performs general household cleaning of the interior and exterior of the building and maintains supplies. The role requires the ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily, read and understand English instructions, communicate effectively with employees, and use basic arithmetic. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. The position involves working in both office and manufacturing environments with moderate noise. Physical duties include regularly sitting, standing, using hands and fingers, reaching, stooping, and talking or hearing. Occasional lifting may be required, up to 70 pounds without additional support. Required vision abilities include close, distance, and color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or one year of related experience.
- Ability to read and understand English instructions.
- Ability to speak effectively with employees of the organization.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers and fractions.
- Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.
