About The Position

BMW of Ontario, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is seeking a motivated and hardworking Custodian. The role maintains building services and the facility, and safely maintains, repairs, or replaces equipment. Candidates with cleaning or general labor experience will be considered. The position primarily works in an automotive shop environment and helps maintain the facility in accordance with PAG standards, performing janitorial, general maintenance, repair, and basic landscaping duties. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with evening, weekend, and holiday hours as required. Pay is $18–$21 per hour. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid driver's license is listed as an additional eligibility qualification.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and three months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to wear required safety and health personal protective equipment, including a respirator, as recommended by the manufacturer.
• Ability to take direction from multiple employees and prioritize work.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to perform general building maintenance and repairs and basic landscaping work.
• Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to use technical reference materials and technical manuals in written and online formats.
• Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
• Effective time management and ability to prioritize workload on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Ability to meet the position's physical demands, including prolonged standing, lifting or carrying items with assistance devices as needed, and regularly pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, grasping, and walking.
• Ability to talk and hear.
