About The Position

The Custodian is responsible for keeping assigned buildings and areas clean and safe. This is a part-time position in Tucson, Arizona, with an evening shift from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The listed pay is $16.00 per hour. Applicants must have at least three months of custodial work experience and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Clean, sweep, dust mop, and wet mop floors, stairways, and corridors.
• Identify cleaning problems and determine the chemicals and equipment needed for specific cleaning tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of housekeeping equipment.
• Clean and wash windows inside and out.
• Remove debris from building entrances and exits to maintain safety.
• Check the building security system to ensure all windows and doors are locked.
• Safely operate cleaning tools and equipment, including brooms, brushes, mops, buckets, wet and dry vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, floor cleaners, scrubbing machines, and high-speed floor buffers.
