About The Position

Verde Clean is hiring a Custodian to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming facilities. The position services areas in Valley Center and provides support as needed in San Marcos. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 pm to 1:30 am, and the role is full-time, paying $18.11 per hour.

The Custodian cleans and maintains floors and surfaces, disinfects restrooms, replenishes supplies, identifies and reports safety hazards, and provides courteous assistance to staff, visitors, and team members. Team members participate in daily stretch and flex sessions for wellness and injury prevention.

Requirements

• At least one year of janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment and knowledge of safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and interact courteously with others.
• Ability to walk and stand, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Comfort using basic cleaning tools and equipment.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of janitorial or cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and wipe down surfaces such as desks, tables, and counters.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
• Restock restroom essentials, fill dispensers, and monitor facility supplies.
• Identify safety hazards and report them to the supervisor.
• Help maintain a secure and safe environment for building occupants.
• Provide courteous assistance to staff, visitors, and fellow team members.
• Service areas in Valley Center and provide support as needed in San Marcos.
