About The Position

Verde Clean is hiring a Custodian to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and welcoming atmosphere of its facilities. The position services areas in Valley Center and provides support as needed in San Marcos. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., and the position is full-time. Pay is $18.11 per hour. The Custodian cleans and maintains floors and surfaces, disinfects restrooms, replenishes supplies, identifies and reports hazards, and provides courteous assistance to staff, visitors, and coworkers. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to use cleaning equipment and knowledge of safety protocols.
Ability to work independently and interact courteously with others.
Ability to walk and stand, and lift up to 25 pounds.
Comfort using basic cleaning tools and equipment.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and wipe down desks, tables, counters, and other surfaces.
Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
Restock restroom essentials such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels; fill dispensers and monitor facility supplies.
Identify safety hazards and report them to the supervisor.
Help maintain a secure and safe environment for building occupants.
Provide courteous, helpful assistance to staff, visitors, and team members.
