About The Position

Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Custodian to ensure company facilities are clean and well maintained. The role may involve cleaning office buildings, warehouses, cleanrooms, laboratories, and other facilities as needed. The Custodian must be flexible and willing to complete assigned tasks. The position reports to the Facilities Director.

The job operates in a professional office environment within a manufacturing company. Applicants must meet U.S. government space technology export requirements; the posting also notes that the position may require a current U.S. National Security clearance or eligibility for one.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide items typically weighing up to 50 pounds and potentially up to 70 pounds.
• Ability and willingness to go beyond one's comfort zone when learning about other areas.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations to comply with U.S. government space technology export regulations.
• May be required to hold or be eligible for a current United States National Security clearance.

• Previous custodial and cleaning experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas, including office buildings, warehouses, cleanrooms, laboratories, and other facilities as needed.
• Clean and maintain carpets and hard-surface floors by vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
• Dust furniture, pictures, ventilation areas, lights, and blinds.
• Empty wastebaskets and clean windows and restrooms.
• Perform other regular cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Clean up after catered meals.
• Complete all assigned tasks flexibly.
