About The Position

The Custodian ensures effective cleanliness and custodial maintenance of assigned facilities and projects, including locker rooms, floors, and grounds. The role helps maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment and a positive member experience. Nights and weekends are required.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school or technical school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize walls, floors, furniture, and equipment using appropriate supplies and following product label instructions.
• Vacuum, sweep, and dust areas, furniture, light fixtures, and other equipment.
• Routinely monitor and dispose of trash according to procedures.
• Set up and break down equipment as needed.
• Ensure equipment used for member programs is clean, sanitized, and in good working order.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and maintain the safety of members, program participants, guests, and staff.
• Keep closets and shop areas neat, organized, and safe, with supplies and chemicals properly labeled.
