About The Position
The Custodian provides continuous cleaning services to support organizational objectives and maintain a clean environment for company associates and guests. The role involves listening to cleanliness recommendations from affected people and following requirements set by the Project Supervisor. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at $16.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work areas.
- Clean, mop, wash, buff, and vacuum floors, regularly using a walk-behind industrial sweeper and floor scrubber.
- Empty trash.
- Maintain outside walk areas by sweeping debris, washing walkways, and using deicer to keep pathways safe.
- Clean and polish fixtures.
- Assist the Safety Committee.
- Track custodian supplies and communicate with the Project Supervisor to order additional quantities.
- Clean tables, chairs, and other furniture.
- Set up and maintain the training room for various activities.
- Perform general painting on walls, stairs, and doors.
- Detect faulty operations and defective material, and report these and any unusual situations to the Project Supervisor.
