About The Position
HKA Enterprises is hiring a Licensed Electrician for a project in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. The electrician will perform electrical installation under supervision or independently, interpret drawings and specifications, and help direct helpers while maintaining safe work habits and a clean jobsite. The project is expected to last 8+ months.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of industrial electrical experience.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of CAD/P&ID drawings.
- Ability to analyze and understand blueprints, layout plans, and schematics.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with vendors and co-workers.
- Ability to measure, perform calculations, and apply geometric concepts.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and aerial lifts to perform job duties.
- Ability to pass E-Verify, a background check, and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Perform supervised and unsupervised electrical installation.
- Communicate effectively and follow instructions from the field supervisor.
- Read and understand drawings, schematics, e-plans, and specifications.
- Direct helpers and top helpers in their daily activities.
- Adhere to safety policies and direct helpers and top helpers on safe work habits.
- Maintain jobsite cleanliness.
Benefits
- Pay of $25–$37 per hour, depending on experience.
- Per diem of $80+ per day.
