About The Position

The Custodian provides ongoing custodial services to support organizational objectives and maintain a clean environment for associates and guests. The role involves responding to cleanliness recommendations from affected individuals and following the Project Supervisor’s requirements. Duties include cleaning and maintaining indoor and outdoor areas, supporting the Safety Committee, managing supplies, setting up training rooms, performing general painting, and reporting faulty operations, defective materials, or unusual situations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work areas.
• Clean, mop, wash, buff, and vacuum floors, using a walk-behind industrial sweeper and floor scrubber.
• Empty trash.
• Maintain outside walk areas by sweeping debris, washing walkways, and keeping pathways safe using deicer.
• Clean and polish fixtures.
• Assist the Safety Committee.
• Track custodial supplies and communicate with the Project Supervisor to order additional quantities.
• Clean tables, chairs, and other furniture.
• Set up and maintain the training room for various activities.
• Perform general painting, including walls, stairs, and doors.
• Detect faulty operations and defective material, and report them and any unusual situations to the Project Supervisor.
