About The Position

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment at Architectural Fabrication. The role involves routine cleaning and disinfecting, managing supplies, and ensuring facility areas—including the shop and offices—meet company standards for cleanliness and hygiene. The position supports the company’s brand portfolio, including Architectural Fabrication and Alumination Architectural Products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, climb ladders, and bend or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout a shift.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and upkeep of facilities, including floors, windows, and doors.
• Perform regular disinfecting throughout assigned areas.
• Empty trash, keep the shop clean, and ensure work areas are free of debris.
• Order and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and materials needed for maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and properly use and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with the facility team to address maintenance needs as they arise.
• Maintain a detailed work log of completed daily tasks.
