About The Position
The Custodian’s primary purpose is to facilitate cleanliness throughout the plant. The role performs daily janitorial work and follows a detailed cleaning schedule, while also assisting with moving items, loading and unloading trucks, washing carts, and cleaning tools as requested. The position requires the ability to perform its essential functions, with or without an accommodation, and a strong desire to do the job properly.

Responsibilities
- Perform basic daily janitorial tasks as directed, including sweeping aisles and areas under machinery, emptying trash receptacles, and blowing down the plant for lint as requested.
- Move or relocate items as requested by the Plant Manager or Plant Supervisors.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as requested.
- Assist with cart washing.
- Assist with cleaning tools as requested.
- Clean rest rooms daily in accordance with company standards, including cleaning toilets, seats, sinks, faucets, mirrors, walls, and baseboards.
- Keep the break room free of trash and wipe tables clean.
- Keep the parking lot and the fence line immediately surrounding it free of trash and linen.
- Follow a detailed cleaning schedule.
- Perform other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
