About The Position

Gordon Food Service is hiring a custodian at its distribution center in Aberdeen, Maryland. The custodian supports warehouse operations by maintaining clean and organized buildings. Duties include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, emptying trash, clearing snow, and maintaining landscaping. The role involves working in temperatures ranging from -25°F to 100°F. No prior experience is required; training is provided.

The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM, with Fridays and Saturdays off. Employees must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed. Starting pay is $18.78 per hour, including a $1.00 third-shift premium, with monthly performance incentives.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions ranging from -25°F to 100°F.
• Read, write, and communicate in English to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
