About The Position

The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) is hiring for part-time Custodian openings and we invite you to join our team! Employees in these roles may work fewer than 1,560 hours per year. THPRD is hiring for multiple positions with hours that vary based on program needs. Part-Time Variable (PT): Work an average of fewer than 29 hours per week, with less than 1,560 hours annually. Seasonal: Work up to 40 hours per week for a maximum of six consecutive months. The hiring team reviews applications as they are received, considering suitability for the role. Requirements

Custodian I: No education or experience required. Must be at least 16 years old.
Custodian II: Related experience is required. Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Daily cleaning and sanitization of restrooms, equipment and program supplies to maintain the health and safety of all participants and staff.
Basic custodial techniques including: dusting, mopping, vacuuming, pressure washing, window washing, carpet cleaning, etc.
Maintaining a helpful, professional and friendly attitude toward facility users and staff.
