About The Position
Agri-Business Child Development (ABCD) has been providing services to migrant, seasonal, and local farm workers’ children, as well as other urban and rural low-income families since 1946. As a non-profit provider of comprehensive child development services for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, the agency serves on average over 1,200 children in nineteen rural New York State counties. ABCD is a community of dedicated individuals who continually work to make a strong, lasting, positive impact on children. Requirements
- No minimum educational background required.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to follow directions, accept supervision, and function as a team member with all center staff.
- Must meet all current child care employee regulations—background checks, training and educational requirements, physical exams.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous maintenance experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for custodial duties at the center.
