About The Position

Marotta Controls is seeking a full-time, on-site Custodian / Facilities Team Member to help maintain facility cleanliness, safety, and efficiency across office, production, and laboratory spaces. The role supports the Facilities Team and helps keep workspaces clean, functional, and organized. The posting gives two location references: Marotta Controls in Montville, NJ, and the Parsippany, NJ corporate offices.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
1–2 years of custodial or janitorial experience.
Valid driver’s license and U.S. citizenship.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
Familiarity with safety protocols and cleaning product instructions.
Positive, team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office.

Nice To Haves

Custodial or janitorial experience in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain floors, walls, ceilings, windows, and restrooms.
Restock supplies in restrooms, break areas, and photocopiers.
Safely use vacuums, mops, and scrubbing and buffing machines.
Support Facilities Team projects, including furniture moves, assembly, and seasonal tasks.
Help with outdoor maintenance, snow removal, and off-hour facility work.
Dispose of trash and recyclables properly.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
