Custodian / Facilities Team Member Location: Marotta Controls – Montville, NJ Employment Type: Full-Time on-site| Monday–Friday | Overtime as needed Are you looking to join a team where your work truly matters? Marotta Controls is seeking a dedicated Custodian / Facilities Team Member to help maintain our facility's cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. You'll play a key role in keeping our workspaces clean and functional—from our offices to production areas, labs, and more.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
1–2 years of custodial/janitorial experience (manufacturing setting preferred)
Valid driver’s license & US citizenship (required)
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
Familiarity with safety protocols and cleaning product instructions
A positive, team-oriented attitude and good communication skills
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office)

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain floors, walls, ceilings, windows, and restrooms
Restock supplies in restrooms, break areas, and photocopiers
Safely use vacuums, mops, scrubbing and buffing machines
Support the Facilities Team with projects like furniture moves, assembly, and seasonal tasks
Help with outdoor maintenance, snow removal, and off-hour facility work
Dispose of trash and recyclables properly
Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for all
