About The Position
The Custodian’s primary purpose is to facilitate the cleanliness of the plant. The role performs daily janitorial tasks throughout the plant and maintains restrooms, the break room, parking lot, and surrounding fence line according to company standards and a detailed cleaning schedule. The Custodian may also relocate items, assist with truck loading and unloading, wash carts, and clean tools as requested. Routine work may be sequenced according to urgency; non-routine issues should be referred for approval.

Responsibilities
- Perform basic daily janitorial tasks as directed, including sweeping aisles and areas under machinery, emptying trash receptacles, and blowing down the plant for lint as requested.
- Move or relocate items as requested by the Plant Manager or Plant Supervisors.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as requested.
- Assist with cart washing.
- Assist with cleaning tools as requested.
- Clean restrooms daily in accordance with company standards, including scrubbing toilets and keeping toilet seats, sinks, faucets, mirrors, walls, and baseboards clean.
- Keep the break room free of trash and wipe tables clean.
- Keep the parking lot and the fence line immediately surrounding it free of trash and linen.
- Follow a detailed cleaning schedule.
- Perform other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
- Sequence assigned work based on urgency.
- Seek approval before addressing non-routine issues.
