About The Position

The Custodian provides exemplary service by keeping buildings clean and orderly and helping ensure a safe, healthy environment for residents and guests. The role includes community cleaning duties such as floor and carpet cleaning, carpet extraction, washing walls and glass, and removing trash. The schedule is part-time, Thursday through Saturday, and pay is $21–$23.

Requirements

• High school graduate preferred.
• Six months to one year of custodial experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must successfully pass a drug screen, job-specific physical, TB test, and background check as part of the pre-employment process.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a senior environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned community spaces, including rooms and lobbies.
• Safely move furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• Order and maintain supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Report maintenance repairs to a supervisor.
• Perform cleaning duties such as floor and carpet cleaning, carpet extraction, washing walls and glass, and removing trash.
