About The Position

The Custodian position is with the School District of Palm Beach County. Applicants must pass a mandatory post-offer employment test that assesses whether they can perform the physically demanding functions of the position. Applicants should contact the HR Customer Care Center for position-specific information about hours, workdays or months, and annual salary.

Recommended applicants must complete required federal, state, and School Board forms and comply with District procedures. Employment is subject to drug testing, and some employment categories may also require a pre-employment medical examination and medical clearance. Finalists may be required to complete background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration and the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

District employees are expected to follow adopted policies and procedures, conduct themselves in the best interest of students and in support of the District's mission, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Pass the mandatory post-offer employment test assessing ability to perform the physically demanding functions of the position.
• Complete required federal, state, and School Board forms and comply with District employment procedures.
• Submit to drug testing; applicants who test positive for a drug as defined by the applicable policies will not be hired.
• Complete a pre-employment medical examination and obtain medical clearance if required for the employment category.
• Undergo AHCA and Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse screening if required as a finalist.
