About The Position

This position is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and safety of school facilities. The role involves general cleaning, trash removal, floor care, and minor repairs. The job is a 12-month position with 8 hours per day, typically during evening shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning and maintenance.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be able to work evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
• Clean windows, doors, and other surfaces.
• Perform floor care duties, including waxing and buffing.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor.
• Assist with minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines.
